CILT Brexit Workshops: The Customs Impact post Brexit

CILT UK supports over 15000 members in the UK, many of whom are small and medium size hauliers and transport businesses that would benefit from cross border customs guidance and best practices, on how to prepare for the impact on trade post Brexit.

CILT UK workshop training will deliver several bitesized workshops allowing the target sector for a condensed face to face learning programme. The main sections will be designed to incorporate customs topics applicable to small and medium sized businesses, and will include:

-Staying ahead - Brexit
-Navigating documentation changes for drivers, trailers and vehicles
-Importing and Exporting goods
-Identify immediate Commercial, Customs and Transit at roll off – roll on locations
-Identify the impact of transporting excise duty suspended goods from the UK to the EU
-Transporting animal, plant and other controller products from the UK to the EU
-How to manage customer expectation post Brexit
-Understand the support available and understanding where to access this information
-Completion of a dedicated SMART plan for each business attending


Post attendance a customs advice pack will be electronically provided and clear signposting to delegates re correct sources of website information to support going forward.
