CILT UK workshop training will deliver a workshop, allowing the target sector to attend for a condensed face to face learning programme.

The main sections will be designed to incorporate Risk considerations post Brexit.

The concept of supply chain risk management (SCRM) is key to the success of any business that operates globally and especially now those that have operations that may be exposed by Brexit. Many organisations have complex supply chains and they need to have transparency across them. A typical pharmaceutical company supply chain can have hundreds of raw material suppliers, but due to regulatory requirements any change to suppliers will require a risk assessment and time to implement.

Content includes:

-Understanding supply chains and complexity in our supply chain

-Identifying links in the supply chain that are a Brexit risk

-Competent to carry out a basic risk assessment across our supply chain and identify impact of that risk

-Understand what government resources are available to enable us to increase our knowledge of the processes and procedures available to mitigate risks

-Prepare an action plan to mitigate the risk by implementing changes to our current working practices

-Implement the action plan within required deadlines.

Post attendance a customs advice pack will be electronically provided and clear signposting to delegates re correct sources of website information to support going forward.
