SEMLEP's Growth Hub has teamed up with Milton Keynes Council, The Department for International Trade, Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce, Grant Thornton and HR Solutions to bring local businesses a bitesize Brexit readiness event, where they can speak to local business support and expertise.

Organisations will each give a short intro before there will be an extensive Q&A session, for which the audience will be asked to submit any questions they may have.

To help you prepare questions we have listed below a brief overview of organisation topics.

Milton Keynes Council: Get the latest info on regulatory issues. There will also be a demo of the tool kit after the panel discussion and Q&As. There will be an opportunity to use the preparation checker in a drop in workshop immediately following the event.

Department for International Trade: Get the latest info and advice on exporting both to the EU and worldwide.

Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce: Assisting businesses to make the most of their potential with a vast range of support available.

Grant Thornton: Hear from the professional accountants on how to address Brexit in financial planning and to consider the potential impacts and opportunities it will create for organisations.

HR Solutions: Supporting employees / workers to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme and the possible implications of post-Brexit immigration policies on workforce planning.

SEMLEP’s Growth Hub: The Growth Hub will give a general overview of the Brexit support available, as well as comparing the panel, making sure your questions get asked to the right person. There will also be business advisers present for any general business support questions as well as to direct you to any further Brexit support information and guidance.
