Budget 2020 - What does it mean for your business rates


On 11 March 2020, the government announced its tax and spending plans for 2020/21, with the addition of a series of temporary rate reliefs and support for businesses in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

These new measures mean that some business rates bills, which have already been sent to businesses for the coming year, will need to be corrected and reissued.

Central Bedfordshire Council have put together some questions and answers for businesses and will update these as and when we receive further information from the government.
