Transitioning towards Zero Emission Vehicles by 2030
The UK Government is going further and faster to decarbonise transport by phasing out the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans by 2030, with all new cars and vans to be zero emissions at the tailpipe by 2035.
Please join us at this online event on the 12th of March where Innovate UK will provide an update on Government’s zero emission vehicle R&D programme, as well as potential future funding opportunities. Relevant areas include development of zero emission vehicle technologies and the supporting charging infrastructure required to enable the transition to zero emission vehicles.
This event will benefit business of all sizes (micro, SME and large), academics, RTO and local authorities.
A full agenda will be published in due course.
Collaboration Platform: To help potential applicants to find suitable partners for the competition, KTN has launched a networking platform. This tool can be used to discuss project opportunities and facilitate introductions between organisations interested in this area. It provides powerful networking through online messaging and 1:1 virtual meetings. You will be able to use this to upload your profile, search other users’ profiles and book video chat meetings via the platform.
We recommend you start building your profile now here, ahead of the event on 12th March. After this, we encourage you to revisit the site to start browsing other users’ profiles and send messages to discuss possible collaboration opportunities.
