There is a call for enterprise advisers to help inspire and prepare young people for the fast-changing world of work. This programme aims to link businesses and schools, so that 12 to 19-year-olds gain an understanding of growth business sectors, make the most of opportunities within the labour market, develop relevant skills and choose appropriate qualifications.

• a business person who can work at a planning and strategic level and prepared to commit a few hours a term;
• someone with good connections with other employers and are willing to use those contacts to help a school;
• passionate about making a difference to the future careers of young people.
