Bedfordshire’s food and drink sector has received a boost with funding to help support manufacturers in the local area.

As part of our support for the Agrifood sector, Central Bedfordshire Council have partnered on a £7million scheme aimed at growing and supporting the food and drink manufacturing sector.

The two-year project will enable eligible food and drink manufacturers in SEMLEP to access funded support including grants, technical expertise, sector events, apprenticeships and mentoring.

We will be hosting a FEAST Food and Drink Manufacturing Clinic on Tuesday 6th June at Central Bedfordshire Council, Priory House, Monks Walk, Chicksands, Shefford, Beds SG17 5TQ.

The clinic will be your opportunity to have a one hour one-to-one diagnostic session to discuss grants, business and technical mentoring, apprenticeships and wider business support available. If your Food & Drink Manufacturing business is eligible you can also have a follow-up session right after to apply there and then!
