New series of Velocity business support workshops
Companies across the South East Midlands can take advantage of a series of free workshops aimed at giving them the skills they need to pay their part in growing the local economy.
The sessions are being staged by Velocity, the business support service from the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) and will take place from September this year.
The workshops follow on from a successful series of events launched by Velocity last year, which saw more than 1,100 people from 538 different businesses attend the free sessions.
Daniel Mouawad, chief executive of Velocity, said: “These workshops are designed to help small to medium sized businesses get up to speed with the latest ways of working and give them the tools they need to grow.
“The South East Midlands is performing brilliantly and we want to keep that momentum building. The workshops are a free resource which can have a huge impact on a business and revolutionise the way they work.
“They will cover everything from attracting investment and smashing sales targets to harnessing the power of the internet and growing the digital side of your business.”
Workshops will be held at venues across the South East Midlands, including Towcester Racecourse, the University of Buckingham, Novotel in Milton Keynes, King’s House in Bedford and the iCon Innovation Centre in Daventry.
