Government funding is available for small and micro rural businesses who are looking to develop new product lines or processes.
The capital grants can be used to support activities including:

• development of craft and handicraft activities
Each application must be able to show that it will create at least two full time equivalent jobs. The grants will cover up to 40% of the total project cost. With grants starting at £35,000, the minimum eligible project cost would be around £87,000.
The deadline for applications is 19 June 2015. More information and the application form can be found online.
