HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Visit to Brinkley Propellers Ltd

Brinkley-Propeller Services Limited (BPSL) were very pleased to have been selected for a visit from HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Helen Nellis.  It was a great opportunity for the Company to showcase its continued growth and for the Lord-Lieutenant to meet its passionate workforce.

The Lord-Lieutenant visited BPSL, Stratton Business Park, Biggleswade on Friday 14th December 18, where she was met and welcomed by Jeff Caiger, Business Investment Officer from Central Bedfordshire Council.  The Lord-Lieutenant was introduced to and welcomed by Darren Carter, Managing Director of BPSL and the Management Team.

The Lord-Lieutenant received an overview of the Company, how it had successfully grown over the past five years; its growth strategy and future plans.  It was noted that BPSL has a great working relationship with Central Bedfordshire Council, who had been very supportive with the relocation to Stratton Business Park and additional grant funding in the new facility.

BPSL is very pleased to have been able to expand to the new 14,250 sq. ft Unit within Stratton Business Park and to have been able to stay within Central Bedfordshire.  As Europe’s leading Propeller Repair and Overhaul facility, the location of Biggleswade, Bedfordshire just 30 minutes north of London, offers exceptional transport links for collection and delivery to our UK customers, as well as excellent access to major UK airports, facilitating our worldwide shipments.

The NDT Manager and Workshop Manager provided the Lord-Lieutenant with a tour of the NDT department and Workshop.  The Lord-Lieutenant was introduced to staff, including an NDT Technician and various Propeller Technicians, all who helped provide the Lord-Lieutenant with an insight to the operational side of the business.

At the end of the tour photographs were taken with the Lord-Lieutenant and Management Team.

HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Helen Nellis said after the visit “It was a pleasure to visit Brinkley-Propeller Services in Biggleswade.  They are an outstanding successful company with an excellent workforce who are leading the way in their field.  They are on a strong growth path and I am immensely proud that they are located here in Bedfordshire”.
