HM The Queen opens centre for elephant care in Central Bedfordshire


ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, one of Central Bedfordshire's key visitor economy organisations received a Royal visit on Tuesday 11th April 2017.

HM The Queen officially opened the new elephant enclosure at the Zoo as part of Her Majesty's visit to Dunstable, which also included the official opening of Central Bedfordshire Council's Priory View, the award-winning independent living scheme.

ZSL Whipsnade is a key player in Central Bedfordshire's high growth visitor economy sector alongside other successful attractions such as Center Parcs, Woburn Forest and the Woburn Estate.
