Marston Forest Centre receives national recognition


Popular Central Bedfordshire visitor attraction and conference venue, the Forest Centre in Marston Moretaine, has been awarded the accolade of ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Sustainable Business of the Year’ category at the prestigious UK Environment and Energy Awards.
Regarded as one of the highest accolades for sustainability in the corporate sector, this award saw the Centre (part of the Forest of Marston Vale Trust) up against nine other businesses; including household names like Arriva, B&Q and British Gas.
Now in their 16th year, the Awards celebrate advancements in green technologies; excellence in resource management and outstanding company sustainability performance.
The awards are supported by major industry leaders, and entries are judged by a panel of experts drawn from within the business, academic and charitable world.
